For Europe’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) — which make up over 99% of all businesses in the EU — AI represents both a challenge and an opportunity. The AIM Project (Artificial Intelligence for MSMEs) was launched to bridge this gap, helping smaller enterprises embrace digital transformation through accessible, multilingual, and practical tools that make AI usable and beneficial in everyday business life.

AIM’s mission is to empower MSMEs, entrepreneurs, managers, and vocational education and training (VET) professionals with the digital competences needed to adopt and apply AI solutions effectively. All project outputs are designed to be multilingual, open-access, and user-friendly, ensuring inclusion and broad usability across Europe.

AIM’s Core Results

1. Needs Assessment
The project begins with a comprehensive mapping of MSMEs’ needs to understand their level of digital readiness and identify barriers to AI adoption. This research supports the creation of a Digital Repository of AI Solutions — a curated, practical collection of tools and examples relevant to MSMEs across sectors.

2. Training Curricula
Based on the assessment’s findings, AIM develops an innovative, multilingual training curriculum that includes case studies, best practices, lessons learned, and actionable tools. These resources will equip business owners, staff, and trainers with the knowledge to integrate AI into business and learning processes.

3. Digital Warehouse
At the heart of the project lies the AIM Digital Warehouse, a free, open, and fully accessible online platform available in six languages. Designed for accessibility and usability, it brings together all project results — training materials, resources, and AI tools — ensuring that MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and educators can access them easily.

4. Guidelines and Policy Recommendations
To ensure sustainability, AIM will produce Guidelines to support VET professionals, entrepreneurs, and SME workers in replicating the project’s tools and methods. A complementary Policy Recommendations document will communicate AIM’s findings and proposals to EU policymakers to promote long-term support for digital transformation.

The AIM Project is implemented by seven organisations from seven European countries, combining complementary expertise in digital innovation, education, and entrepreneurship:

Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires (IHF) – Belgium
Partner page

Internet Web Solutions (IWS) – Spain
Partner page

IDP European Consultants (IDP) – Italy
Partner page

D-ialogo e.V. – Germany
Partner page

School of Coding (SOC) – Ireland
Partner page

Clever Collaboration Group (CCG) – Sweden
Partner page

University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU) – Croatia
Partner page

Together, these partners bring diverse perspectives and expertise, uniting research, education, and business innovation to make AI a driver of inclusion, productivity, and competitiveness across Europe.

All AIM outputs will be freely available online in multiple languages.
Learn more about the project, partners, and results at: www.aimproject.eu[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” padding_top=”0″ padding_bottom=”14″ css=”.vc_custom_1741384030748{margin-top: 20px !important;background-color: #FFFFFF !important;}” z_index=””][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] Artificial Intelligence for MSMEs: The AIM Project Boosts Europe’s Digital Readiness Co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, the AIM Project supports Europe’s micro, small and…

[42

post-995","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en
["GET
